Strawberry Fayre Stall at Everybody’s Embroidery Event
Strawberry Fayre will have a Stall at Everybody’s Embroidery Event on Saturday May12th 2012 in Cheriton Bishop Village Hall. 10a.m. to 4.00p.m.
Refreshments (delicious lunches & cakes!) Stalls, demonstrations by Members of West Country Embroiderers & exhibits to see.
Free Car Park & good disabled access.
Cheriton Bishop is just off the A30, about 10 miles West from Exeter Services. About half way from Exeter to Okehampton. Take the turn off to Cheriton Bishop, 1 mile to the village. Turn right by the Post Office & Stores & right to Village Hall.It will be signed.

The Chagford Flea Market, Jubilee Hall, Chagford, Devon TQ13 8DP.
Every Friday from 10am – 1pm. Hope to see you there!
Chagford Flea Market is a very colourful event, with lots of stalls including plants & flowers, bread, cakes & cheese, books & cards, textiles, antiques & curios.
Refreshments available, good disabled access. Adjacent Car park .
Chagford itself is a delightful Moorland Town, that is easy to reach from all parts of Devon.
It has a good selection of pubs & cafes. Visit the famous emporiums, Webbers & Bowdens & a wealth of charming shops.

Thank you to all of you who’ve come out to the Stall. Great to meet the quilters who came in a bus from Helston, Cornwall & quilters from Barnstaple, North Tawton & many local quilters too.
We now have assorted coloured felt, beads, bells & sequins on the stall.
Also great to meet all of you who came to the Rag Market. Lots of antique quilts & fabrics & clothes. We’ll let you know dates for next year.

Jenny helps at The Devon Guild family drop-in Quilt Day
Wall of visitors' Quilt blocks
Jenny was pleased to help at The Devon Guild Quilt-it, Patch-it, Family drop-in day. There was a table that sat 10 visitors & it was full all day. There were front, wadding & backing squares, 7″ sq. ready to go & the children & adults then decorated the top by sewing on all kind on scraps. For many it was their first experience of sewing & of quilting. Many of them said they were inspired to do more.
